What do you want to know about the middle school? On Friday, June 11 we have some visitors coming from the middle school. They are 2009 graduates of Thoreau School who are finishing their first year at CMS! This is your chance to find out first hand what to expect.

ReplyDeleteWhat are the teachers like?
what's the most confusing part?
Do you like lunch?
Hey uhh since there are no more posts i'm worried i'm doing this wrong.. that or just by coincidence i'm the first one to post... anyway, my three questions are...
ReplyDelete1. one of the most general questions you could ask: is it easier, altogether, in 6th grade than 5th grade (judging by homework, the quality of the work that's expected, and how hard the work is)
2. is the food any better? because in elementary school the food is mainly mud, and spray paint (not literally) plus i heard that you have big pretzels and i was hoping that might be true :)
3.are the teachers more strict? i really hope they aren't because i can't stand an overly-strict person. (fortunately my current and past teachers from Thoreau weren't the type of teachers that i'm hoping to avoid in middle school, and I'm not accusing any teachers of being overly-strict, I only want somebody to confirm that the teachers are nice.)
thank you for answering these questions (if you did anyway) and i'm excited for going to middle school.

Hi middle schoolers!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering, how much homework do you get? How big are the classrooms? What do you do in gym?
Thanks

I have three questions about middle school:
ReplyDelete1. Does the school supply planners for the students?
2. Can anyone get into your locker if you jam it?
3. How much time each day should I keep for homework?

LHN: I have lots of questions that I would like to ask about 6th grade.
ReplyDelete1. When do you get to go to the library? The sample schedule we got didn't show any library period or free time.
2. How much homework do you get a day on average?
3. Do any activities include students from both Sandborn and Peabody? And when will we get to see our friends who go to the other school?
